He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Xianning Medical College of Hubei Province in 1994. He has been engaged in stomatological practice in Grade-II Class A hospitals ever since graduation. He completed a one-year advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Stomatological Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University from 1998 to 1999, and received a six-month professional training in endodontics and prosthodontics at the School of Stomatology, Wuhan University between 2003 and 2004.

With 18 years of experience in clinical stomatology and medical teaching, he possesses profound clinical proficiency in oral medicine, oral surgery and oral prosthodontics. He focuses on oral and maxillofacial surgery, specializing in the extraction of complex impacted teeth, residual roots and residual crowns. He is independently competent in performing surgeries including jaw fracture reduction, jaw cyst resection and maxillofacial gland excision.
