Hou Zhanying is an Associate Chief Physician. She holds a Master’s degree and is currently an in-service doctoral candidate, as well as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Guangdong Medical University. She obtained her Master of Medicine degree from Jinan University in 2006 and began her in-service doctoral studies at Southern Medical University in 2019.

She received advanced training in the Department of Dermatology at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from 2013 to 2014, and further six-month specialized training at the Dermatology Hospital of Southern Medical University in 2020.

She currently serves as a member of the Allergy and Hypersensitivity Group under the Dermatology and Venereology Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, a member of the Dermatological Plastic and Aesthetic Group under the Laser Medicine Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, a committee member of the Dermatology and Venereology Branch of Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Society, and a director of the Allergy Professional Committee of Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association.

As the first author, she has published more than 10 papers in Chinese statistical source journals and 2 SCI papers. With over 16 years of clinical and teaching experience in dermatology, she adheres to the medical tenet of benevolence, people-orientation, excellence and health protection, and is committed to delivering dedicated medical services to patients.
