He completed advanced studies for one year in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory of Wuhan Union Hospital and six months at the Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital & Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute. He participated in the National Training Program for Cardiovascular Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Technology, and has been awarded the qualification for coronary interventional diagnosis and treatment issued by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.

Currently, he serves as Committee Member of the Structural Cardiology Group, Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Control Committee of Hubei Preventive Medicine Association, and Committee Member of Shiyan Chest Pain Center Alliance Committee, Hubei Province. He has been repeatedly rated as an Outstanding Communist Party Member and awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to Professional Competence" Award.

He has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and scientific research in the Department of Cardiology for 13 years.

He is proficient in performing thrombus aspiration for acute myocardial infarction, rotablation for calcified lesions, antegrade and retrograde recanalization of chronic total occlusion (CTO), and management of left main and bifurcation lesions. He has mastered the application of IVUS, FFR, IABP and rotational atherectomy devices. He independently performs interventional therapy for structural heart diseases, including left and right cardiac catheterization, as well as occlusive interventions such as patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, ventricular septal defect (VSD) closure, patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) closure, coronary fistula occlusion and pulmonary arteriovenous fistula occlusion. He independently performs implantation of single-chamber and dual-chamber permanent pacemakers, as well as radiofrequency ablation for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia under two-dimensional mapping.

Since engaging in cardiovascular interventional work, he has participated in over 10,500 surgeries, including more than 8,000 coronary interventional procedures.

In June 2021, he performed the first zero-fluoroscopy patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure in Northwest Hubei. Since joining the hospital, he has completed over 150 coronary interventions and more than 30 IVUS examinations, covering complex lesions such as CTO lesions, left main bifurcation lesions and severe calcified lesions. He has finished structural heart occlusive procedures including 5 cases of PFO closure, 5 cases of ASD closure and 3 cases of PDA closure, together with 3 cases of pericardiocentesis and 2 cases of temporary pacemaker implantation. He has also completed and guided numerous cases of subclavian central venous catheterization.
