Engaged in clinical practice, teaching and scientific research in otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery for 33 years. He has comprehensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases, frequently encountered disorders, intractable cases as well as acute and critical illnesses in this specialty, with profound clinical experience accumulated over decades.

He specializes in endoscopic sinus surgery, naso-ocular related surgery and endoscopic skull base surgery, for the management of chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal septum deviation, chronic dacryocystitis, orbital decompression, optic nerve canal decompression, sinonasal inverted papilloma, nasopharyngeal angiofibroma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, pterygopalatine fossa and infratemporal fossa tumors, parapharyngeal space tumors, as well as transnasal transsphenoidal pituitary tumor resection.

He is proficient in laryngeal endoscopic phonosurgical microsurgery for vocal fold polyps, Reinke’s edema, vocal fold nodules, vocal fold cysts and vocal fold leukoplakia, and performs laser surgery for early laryngeal cancer. He also excels in the diagnosis and individualized treatment of adult and pediatric obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).
