Leng Youxu

Leng Youxu is a Chief Physician and Deputy Director of the Department of Gynecology. He holds academic positions including member of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee of China Medical Equipment Association, member of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee of China Medical Education Association, member of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee of Shenzhen Anti-Cancer Association, and member of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee of Heilongjiang Province.

Medical Experience

Graduating from university in 1997, he has been engaged in obstetrics and gynecology for over 30 years and currently focuses on gynecological diseases, especially intractable and complex gynecological disorders. He has received multiple advanced professional trainings: advanced gynecological training at Peking University People’s Hospital in 2011; specialized hysteroscopy and laparoscopy training at the First People’s Hospital of Foshan in 2012; gynecologic oncology training at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in October 2012; advanced gynecologic oncology training at Peking University People’s Hospital in 2015; and further gynecologic oncology training at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2021.

Achievements & Honors

He has been awarded one Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award, one Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Award, and the First Prize of Provincial New Medical Technology Application. He has participated in one provincial scientific research project, published more than 10 national-level papers, including over 2 core journal papers and SCI papers, and compiled 2 medical monographs. He has received numerous honorary titles: Outstanding Assistance Worker in 2017, Outstanding Medical Staff in 2018, Top Ten Specialist Physician in the Second Doctor’s Day of Longhua District Central Hospital in 2019, Outstanding Assistance Worker in 2019, Advanced Individual for Cross-regional Medical Support awarded by Donglan Health Bureau in 2019, Outstanding Party Member Volunteer in 2019, and Outstanding Communist Party Member of Longhua District in 2021.

Clinical Specialties

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex gynecological diseases, including uterine fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, gynecological endocrine disorders, menopausal syndrome, and uterine prolapse. He has accumulated rich clinical experience in the standardized diagnosis and surgical treatment of gynecological malignancies, especially cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer.

Clinical Cases

During one-year medical assistance in Donglan County People’s Hospital in Guangxi in 2018, he completed more than 500 surgeries, including over 60 surgeries for impoverished households, contributing to local poverty alleviation. He performs over one thousand surgeries annually, with a cumulative total of more than 20,000 cured patients.
