He has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and scientific research in cardiology for nearly 30 years. He is an Outstanding Provincial-level Expert and Outstanding Provincial-level Professional and Technical Talent. He has undertaken 15 provincial and ministerial-level research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has won 2 Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards and 1 Chinese Medical Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published more than 30 academic papers at home and abroad, participated in compiling 1 academic monograph and formulated 2 national expert consensus documents.

He boasts rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of critical and refractory cardiovascular diseases, thrombotic diseases, comprehensive management of common cardiovascular diseases, and diagnosis and treatment of complex arrhythmias. He has led and participated in the clinical application of more than ten new technologies with satisfactory therapeutic effects.
