He currently serves as Standing Committee Member of the Hepatology Professional Committee of Shenzhen Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Standing Committee Member of the Evidence-Based Medicine Professional Committee of Guangdong Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

He began his professional career in December 1987 and worked in the Department of Infectious Diseases at The Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen from 2004 to 2006.

He has presided over 1 municipal research project and 2 district-level research projects, and published more than 10 papers in core academic journals. He has repeatedly been honored as Outstanding Physician of Shenzhen, Outstanding Teacher, and Advanced Individual in Medical Ethics and Conduct by the hospital.

With over 30 years of professional experience in infectious diseases, he has extensive clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of common infectious diseases. His main specialties include chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, severe viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and its complications, alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, fever of unknown origin, jaundice of unknown origin, and rash of unknown origin.

With benevolent medical ethics and superb professional skills, he has won wide recognition from patients, attracting numerous out-of-town patients who seek medical treatment at his clinic. Since engaging in medical practice, he has always upheld the principle of patient first. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience in infectious disease prevention and treatment, he has dedicated himself to frontline epidemic prevention and rescue work. He took charge of frontline training, screening, diagnosis and treatment for COVID-19 cases, and was the first to diagnose COVID-19 nucleic acid positive patients in the hospital. Under his leadership, the Fever Clinic team overcame numerous difficulties and successfully fulfilled all epidemic prevention and control tasks.
