He serves as Director of the General Internal Medicine Department and Director of the Nephrology Department at Shenzhen Longhua District Central Hospital. His academic appointments include Vice Chairman of the Nephrology Committee of Shenzhen Medical Association; Vice Chairman of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nephrology Branch of Guangdong Urogenital Association; Deputy Group Leader of the Hemodialysis Group, Nephrologist Branch of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association; Member of the Nephrology Branch of Guangdong Medical Association; Reviewer for SCI journals including World Journal of Clinical Cases; Specialized Nephrologist at METTRAPRACHARAK Hospital, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand; Visiting Scholar at the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension, Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), Switzerland; and Visiting Scholar at Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, United Kingdom.

He graduated from Fudan University in 1999. He is recognized as an Overseas Returnee Talent of Shenzhen and a High-Level Talent of Longhua District, Shenzhen. He worked as a Chief Physician in the Department of Nephrology at Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital from 2004 to 2015. He was recruited as the academic leader of the Nephrology Department of our hospital in May 2015. With 30 years of clinical experience in nephrology, he has profound expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, lupus nephritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, tubulointerstitial nephropathy, chronic renal failure, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout. He has conducted in-depth research on blood purification techniques and possesses strong capabilities in the management of complicated and critical renal diseases.

He has presided over and participated in 6 scientific research projects, including the General Program of Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation and Basic Research Projects of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission. He has published more than 20 academic papers, including 12 SCI-indexed articles. He was awarded the Third Prize of the Chinese Medical Association Medical Science and Technology Award, and has been honored as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Specialist Physicians of Longhua District and of Shenzhen Longhua District Central Hospital.
