He graduated from Guangdong Medical University. He received advanced training at Zunyi Medical University, Guangzhou Medical University and other institutions, and conducted academic and clinical study visits at many renowned tertiary Class A hospitals, including West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Wuhan Union Hospital and Xiangya Hospital of Changsha.

With nearly 30 years of clinical experience in surgery, he is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common, frequently-occurring, intractable and critical diseases in general surgery. The department is capable of performing laparoscopic minimally invasive radical resection for liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer, as well as minimally invasive surgery for various types of external abdominal hernia. He has published more than 20 academic papers in total.
