In 2020, he was recruited to The Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen as a Shenzhen Municipal Leading-level Talents, and assumed the post of Director of the Department of Bone and Joint Surgery.

He once served as Member of the Hip Working Committee, Joint Group, Orthopedics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. Currently he holds the positions of Vice Chairman of Tianjin Orthopedic Society and Leader of its Joint Group, as well as Standing Committee Member of the National Hemophilia Alliance.He acts as an editorial board member for more than ten academic journals, including Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics, Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery, and Chinese Journal of Anatomy and Clinics.He has undertaken over 20 research projects at national, provincial and municipal levels, won 3 Provincial Third-Class Science and Technology Awards, compiled 3 professional monographs, and obtained 7 authorized patents. He has supervised more than 30 master’s and doctoral students, and published over 120 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI-indexed articles.

Engaged in orthopedic clinical practice, teaching and scientific research for more than 30 years, he has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints, as well as hemophilic joint deformities.He has been performing hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joint replacement and revision surgery since 2002, with over 5,000 cases completed to date.In 1998, he took the lead in establishing a bone bank in Tianjin, filling the municipal professional blank in this field.Since 1991, he has long been dedicated to researching the pathogenesis of osteonecrosis of the femoral head induced by liver and kidney transplantation as well as HIV infection. He has treated more than 2,000 cases of femoral head necrosis by means of bionic pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, surface joint replacement, autologous and allogeneic osteochondral transplantation, and intra-articular osteotomy, achieving satisfactory clinical outcomes.Since 2014, he has carried out surgical treatment for hemophilic joint deformities, and has completed more than 300 operations including resection of huge hemophilic pseudotumors and joint replacement of the hip, knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle joints, with favorable clinical results achieved.
