Engaged in orthopedic clinical practice and teaching for 29 years, he has received advanced training in the Department of Orthopedics at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi Medical College, Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University, Xinqiao Hospital of Army Medical University, and Changzheng Hospital of Naval Medical University successively.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal diseases such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, spinal fracture and spinal tuberculosis. He took the lead in carrying out percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic microinvasive surgery for lumbar disc herniation in the hospital, with over 3,000 spinal surgeries completed.

He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of osteonecrosis of the femoral head, congenital acetabular dysplasia, knee osteoarthritis and other diseases. He pioneered the application of total hip arthroplasty for congenital acetabular dysplasia, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and total knee surface arthroplasty in the hospital, and has completed more than 500 hip and knee arthroplasty operations, including multiple joint replacement surgeries for centenarians.

He excels in the surgical treatment of complex pelvic fractures, intertrochanteric fractures of femur, limb joint fractures and other complicated fractures. He performed the first 3D printing-assisted pelvic fracture surgery in Shenzhen. He is also skilled in the emergency treatment and rescue of elderly critically ill patients with complicated fractures, multiple traumas and multiple underlying diseases.
