Department of Maternal and Child Health Care

Maternal and child health care serves as an important symbol of national social development and civilized progress, and is closely related to the population quality and long-term prosperity of the nation. Adhering to its service tenet, the department strives to forge distinctive features for the Department of Maternal and Child Health Care within the general hospital system.

The department comprises two major outpatient sections: the Postpartum Health Care Clinic and the Infant and Young Child Health Care Clinic.

Postpartum Health Care Clinic

Services include 30-day and 42-day postpartum physical examination, breastfeeding consultation, psychological assessment, comprehensive postpartum rehabilitation, myofascial rehabilitation, and body contour management.

Infant and Young Child Health Care Clinic

It provides physical examination for children aged 0–6 years, health consultation for high-risk infants, growth and development evaluation, and nutritional guidance. Other routine services cover vision screening, hearing screening, intellectual and developmental training, as well as psychological and behavioral assessment.
