The Department of Urology of Shenzhen Longhua District Central Hospital currently has 29 medical and nursing staff, with 41 open inpatient beds. The team comprises 3 High-level Talents of Longhua District, 1 Chief Physician, 4 Associate Chief Physicians, 4 doctoral degree holders, and 6 master's degree holders. The department runs a Urology Specialist Expert Clinic, General Urology Outpatient Clinic, Andrology Clinic, Specialty Diagnosis and Treatment Room, Lithotripsy Center, and Inpatient Ward.
In 2013, the department was accredited as a Shenzhen Key Medical Discipline (Under Construction). In 2014, it was designated as a Key Discipline of Guangdong Medical University. Laparoscopic and retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgery: single-port laparoscopic ureterolithotomy, retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy for renal cancer, adrenal tumor resection, partial nephrectomy, retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND), and pyeloplasty;
Transurethral endoscopic surgery: transurethral enucleation of the prostate (TUERP) and transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT);
Endourological stone surgery: percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and ureteroscopic lithotripsy with stone extraction;
Continence surgery: transobturator tape inside-out (TVT-O) procedure for stress urinary incontinence (SUI);
