Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery Shenzhen Longhua District Central Hospital
The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, formerly the Department of Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, was independently established as a specialized department in August 2025, and was approved as the Construction Unit of Longhua District Key Medical Discipline in the same year.
The department has 36 authorized inpatient beds and a team of 25 professional technical staff, including 2 senior professional title physicians (both Chief Physicians) and 2 doctoral degree holders, forming a high-level talent echelon with a rational mix of senior, middle-aged and young professionals.

The department is equipped with cutting-edge facilities including 3D laparoscope, 4K fluorescent laparoscope, peritoneal hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) therapeutic system, and gastrointestinal motility detection system, with a total equipment value exceeding 8 million RMB, providing solid hardware support for precise diagnosis and treatment.
