Department of Hematology, Shenzhen Longhua District Central Hospital

The Department of Hematology is a pioneering, proactive, united and innovative team with a well-structured talent echelon. Currently, the department has 1 Chief Physician, 1 Associate Chief Physician, 3 Attending Physicians, 3 Resident Physicians, 1 staff member with a doctoral degree, and 7 with master's degrees. It runs expert clinics for leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, thrombocytopenia and other hematological disorders. The department also has a professional nursing team, which provides strong support for high-quality patient care and standardized medical diagnosis and treatment.

The department provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for the full spectrum of hematological diseases, including various acute and chronic leukemia, multiple myeloma (MM), malignant lymphoma, myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN, including polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, primary myelofibrosis, chronic myeloid leukemia, etc.), various types of anemia, leukopenia and leukocytosis, thrombocytopenia, aplastic anemia (AA), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), immune thrombocytopenia (ITP, and Henoch-Schönlein purpura (anaphylactoid purpura).

It is equipped with advanced diagnostic capabilities for MICM (Morphology, Immunology, Cytogenetics, Molecular Biology) typing, the international gold standard for hematological malignancy diagnosis, and has carried out advanced diagnosis and treatment technologies including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and targeted therapy for hematological malignancies.
